F.A. DeRosa Prime Dry-Aged Beef Branding

The story behind F.A. DeRosa starts with a name that’s been carried down through four generations of butchers. Local New Jersey butcher, Frank DeRosa approached us to create the branding for the opening of his family's first ever
Dry-Aged Butcher shop. He wanted to pay homage to his Great Great Grandfather, the first DeRosa to immigrate from Italy in 1925, by leaning
into a turn of the century look and feel. I was heavily inspired by the hand lettered nature and the craftsmanship of the signage of that time period. From the visual language of the logo we also created all of the exterior signage, an interior timeline mural wall, as well as a website filled with hand drawn products.
